Evjen Elite Dance Company
An award-winning competitive dance company for those dancers who wish to make a special commitment to their dance education.
Being a member of a dance company requires that dancers abide by an attendance policy, attend mandatory classes throughout the year, participate in required extra practices and regional and national competitions and performances. It certainly takes a strong commitment and dedication on the part of our dancers and their families; however, it comes with great reward.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the dress code?
You can view the full dress code based on the class, including our shop recommendations, HERE.
What if my dancer misses a class?
We offer a flexible make up policy! We ask that you please notify us with as much advance as possible if your dancer needs to miss their class, but we understand that last minute things come up too. Any missed classes can be made up in any similar age/level class (it does not need to be the same style as the class that was missed) as long as you notify the office at least 24 hours in advance of the intended makeup class. If you need help selecting an appropriate make up class, please email us at evjenacademyoffice@gmail.com
Can my dancer bring snacks into the studio?
See all class conduct and important guidelines, including our snack policies, HERE.
What is the time commitment?
Most of our classes meet weekly* for 45-60 minutes. Our dance season begins mid-September, and classes run through the end of May with our annual recital the first weekend of June. Our season is structured so that dancers have the most success when they begin in September and dance for the full season, culminating in our June showcase. However, we do keep registration open for most of our recreational classes until the end of January. Applications for the Evjen Elite Dance Company open in February, with evaluations taking place in March for the following season.
*We do close for holidays, vacations, and special studio days off. Our season calendar can be found HERE.
How much does it cost?
Your investment, based on the classes you choose, will vary. If you’d like to see the most current pricing structure, view the most recent registration form HERE
Do you offer trial classes?
Yes! Anyone interested in joining our studio is welcome to attend one trial class free of charge. Please email us and we will help you to find a trial class that suits your schedule and style needs!
